Brand and product details
A 126-piece set of jumbo soft blocks from Greenbean, supplied with a storage bin. The soft material is what sets this apart from wooden or plastic blocks: a tower that falls on a baby is a non-event, so the set can go out on the floor with a very young child in the room. Greenbean list it from 3 months, which is unusually early for a building toy, and describe the blocks as light, easy to clean and easy to travel with. Beyond the obvious fun, they point to brain stimulation, hand-eye coordination and muscle development. The supplier states that an antiseptic formula contributes to the material used during production, and that because of the specific materials involved the range is put through tests including ASTM F963, EN71 and Taiwan ST. In the box: 126 jumbo soft blocks. This is the larger of the two mixed sets, and the one to choose if the blocks are for a shared play space rather than one child.
