This is a demonstration pocket chart for teaching equivalence, the point at which fractions, decimals and percentages stop being three separate topics and become one. Children build their own fraction wall in the pockets, then swap the colour-coded cards to see the same quantity expressed three different ways, which is a far more convincing demonstration than writing the conversions out. It comes complete with three sets of colour-coded cards that work with EDX fraction tiles, percentage tiles and decimal tiles, so it slots into an existing set of manipulatives rather than replacing them. The heavy-duty durable vinyl construction is made for repeated classroom handling, and at 17 x 56 x 6 cm it is sized for a group to see at once. Suits learners from six years.
